About this deal

All of this is slated to change, as LEGO has been known to adjust, delay, or straight up cancel kits, but early reports are looking like this will be the Star Wars lineup come the summer. Regardless, let’s break down what’s potentially on the way. LEGO AT-TE I agree that the raising thruster section is very well executed, but at this price the interior should've been decorated much better. Further to the advantages for play and display, shortening the engine boom creates additional space at the centre of the fuselage. The designer has accordingly provided a small cargo bay, which is accessible through an opening hatch. However, there is nothing to secure any cargo inside, so the whole concept seems somehow incomplete.

Cad Bane was a Duros Bounty Hunter regularly employed by the Separatists. Notably he was employed by Darth Sidious to steal a Holocron from the Jedi Temple so Sidious could bring up four Jedi children as Sith. However, his plan was foiled and Bane ended up in prison. He later escaped the prison with Moralo Eval and a disguised Obi-Wan Kenobi with a plan to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine, which was again foiled by the Jedi. Despite these issues, the transformation between landed and flight configurations is fantastic. Raising the engine boom also lifts the forward landing gear, since they are connected through the spine of the vessel. This configuration lowers the Technic beams as well, better concealing those and the bothersome blue Technic pin. Two previous Cad Bane minifigures have been produced, portraying the character's changing appearance during the Clone Wars. This version instead takes inspiration from The Bad Batch and looks outstanding, due in particular to the new hat and breathing tubes. The latter element represents a huge improvement over the original bulky piece, while Bane's serious expression looks perfect too. Star Wars: The Bad Batch is something of a hidden gem in the world of Star Wars animated programs. It's not held in the same high regard as The Clone Wars and Rebels are, but the Disney+ series does have a large contingent of die-hard fans. Following a squad of genetically enhanced clones who find themselves on the run from the newly-formed Empire, the series has handled character work and emotional beats with precision. The Justifier, while looking like an absolutely monstrous ship, also featured a Cad Bane Minifigure, with a new breathing apparatus, as well as the first Omega minifigure, which will please fans of The Bad Batch.

The 4,514-piece LEGO 10305 Lion Knight’s Castle officially announced – the ultimate LEGO Castle of your dreams! The new LEGO AT-TE Walker vehicle features several Clone Troopers and B1 Battle Droids in Minifugure form. I am hopeful we’ll at least see a set from the Obi-Wan series. We’re also still expecting to see the UCS Landspeeder at some point in the future here, which you can read all about in our coverage from last fall. Wrapping up what we currently know so far about the specifics of the LEGO Star Wars summer 2022 lineup, there appears to be another AT-ST launching this August. Not to be confused with the Hoth version from last month, this new creation could also likely draw inspiration from the upcoming Cassian Andor series.

Her hairstyle is not entirely accurate, but looks reasonable, while the helmet captures fantastic detail. Cad Bane includes twin blaster pistols and Fennec carries a briefcase. Sadly, there is no bounty inside. Reference

The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. Minifigures Whether you prefer the massive Death Star up on your shelf, or a diminutive X-Wing for your keychain, LEGO has everything you could ever want. As reported by Futurism, the newest group of Star Wars drops will have nine separate drops. One of the more unique sets is Cad Bane’s ship The Justifier. This new set is reported to have 1,062 pieces and will be sold at a substantial price of 160 dollars. The demand for this Cad Bane set can be expected to be quite high with Cad Bane appearing in The Bad Batch and The Book of Boba Fett as well as assumed exit from the Star Wars Universe. The box advertises opening panels beside the weapons, perhaps covering additional interior. Unfortunately, these large panels only conceal clips for spare missiles, alongside the Technic mechanism for the landing gear. While storage space is always useful, the access panels are unnecessarily huge and there is only one clip on each side, which is very disappointing. As for what the rest of the lineup will hold, there’s a lot of room for variety. Out of all the sets that we already know about, four of them haven’t been detailed enough for us to say what exactly the kits will include. Though we certainly have some guesses. At LEGO CON, LEGO have also unveiled 2 new LEGO Star Wars – 75337 AT-TE Walker and 75323 The Justifier. A new version of the minifigure will appear in the summer 2013 set 75024 HH-87 Starhopper. This Cad Bane includes his hat and a blaster. Two boxes are situated behind the chair, containing explosives and a lightsaber hilt. Cad Bane killed several Jedi during the Clone Wars, so the reference is welcome, but the accessories are not actually secured. The prison cell includes a removable trans-red wall panel, which represents the laser barrier. Once again, I like the idea, but various colourful parts remain exposed inside and could have been concealed.

Overall

One of the best features of the ship doesn’t become apparent until the very end of the build. You’ll notice a few gears are featured with the wings of the ship. These connect to the large engine section at the rear. This can be moved forward to raise the landing gears in each wing. It also changes the configuration of the ship, with this rear section towering over the rest of the ship when in flight mode. What I really like about this mechanism is how simple it is. There are no complex gear systems in place, just a couple of gears and a couple of Technic beams. Unfortunately, the beams which run between the wings and the tail is visible along the top of the ship. Another interesting feature is a small panel found on the engine tail, it uses a very odd build technique, of plates slotting in-between studs. Not something you see very often in a LEGO set but the resulting design does look great.
