LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, released in 2005, was based on the LEGO sets portraying characters such as Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu in the prequel movies. Ten years later, Anakin and his Master Obi-Wan were tasked with acting as bodyguards for the now-Senator Padmé Amidala after an assassination attempt. That night, another attempt on Padmé's life was carried out. Anakin saved Padmé from two venomous insects, while Obi-Wan grabbed onto the hovering courier droid which deployed them, hoping it would lead him to whoever sent the droid. He carried out several missions with Clone Marshall Commander Cody, and also with Anakin, his Apprentice Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex.Also, there are massive stand-alone playsets, such as 4480 Jabba's Palace (though this can be connected to 4475 Jabba's Message and 4476 Jabba's Prize to form an even larger Jabba's Palace), 10123 Cloud City, and 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Duel. The latest playset is 7666 Hoth Rebel Base, which includes a new snowspeeder (third model) and an E-web blaster.

In 2005, two promotional MINI models were released in celebration of the release of Episode III. A magnet set was released with Obi-Wan in it during 2009. This Obi-Wan minifigure was the same as his latest pilot version in the 7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring, but with a brown hood and cape instead of a hairpiece. A blue-bladed lightsaber is also included.
