Lenovo G27q-30 Specifications

Information about the maximum horizontal viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality. Information of the number of pixels in a unit of length. With the decrease of the display size and the increase of its resolution, the pixel density increases.

Approximate diagonal size of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the diagonal is calculated from the width and height of the screen. Updated to Test Bench 1.2, resulting in changes to the results and scores with the Response Time and Input Lag. Added tests for Console Compatibility and macOS compatibility and made minor changes to other tests, which you can see in our Changelog. I was almost tempted by some of the 32″ screens that are available for not much more money than I paid for the Lenovo G27q-30, but the contrast, colour accuracy and brightness of this new screen by Lenovo is far superior than any of the alternatives, and it really shines through during use. The storage temperature shows the range from a minimum to a maximum temperature, within which storing of the display is considered to be safe.Impressive. I am really, really impressed with this new monitor from Lenovo. I bought it to use in portrait mode alongside my main screen – a Dell U3219Q (4k 32″). It replaces an older dell 24″ 1080p monitor that was filling this role. My main use for the new G27q-30 is for graphic design and code and so the 123% sRGB colour gamut, 350cd/m 2 and 1000:1 contrast ratio really made this monitor stand out against any other screen at this price point. Information about whether the stand can be dismounted. Usually, this is required for wall mounting. DCI P3 is a color space, introduced in 2007 by the SMPTE. It is used in digital cinema and has a much wider gamut than the sRGB. Following the usual online calibration tools, the G27q-30 is easy to set up for best performance (I didn’t have to change much and seems to be fairly well calibrated out of the box). In contrast, my dell U3219Q (several times the price of the Lenovo), whilst being an excellent monitor, has never quite given me the level of colour accuracy that I wanted.

The stand included with the Lenovo G27q-30 doesn’t pivot or swivel, but at least you can adjust its height aside from tilting the screen. That’s sufficient for single monitor setups, so it’s fine for most setups. You can use VESA mounts if you need more flexibility, but that’s added spending, so it is only recommended for special builds or instances.

inch 1440p monitors are the current sweet spot between high-end and competitive gaming, so we’re glad that they have become very affordable. You get upgraded clarity and details with it, but the graphics card requirement isn’t as high as it is on a 4K display. It is also easier on the eyes for reading and writing, so it can also be a good option for home or school use. The storage humidity shows the lower and upper humidity limit, which ensures safe storage of the display. Storing it outside these limits might damage the display. Overall I’m really impressed with this screen at this price point. If you are working with media, office files or video then you won’t be disappointed. Yes, connectivity is limited – to get a screen this good and a full suit of inputs and a USB hub then you are going to have to spend quite a bit more. Added that the HP OMEN 27q has better Color Accuracy before calibration and a more customizable sRGB mode.

The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene. The high refresh rate and contrast make for smooth scrolling and great video performance too. I’m not a gamer – so would be interested in your thoughts on this monitor if you are, although you would probably be more interested in the G27q-20, which come with an IPS panel. Having said that, there are plenty of gaming specific settings in the menus to help you get the best use out of it. ConnectivityThe Lenovo G27q-30 isn’t too heavy at 12.8 pounds, so we can still consider it as a portable option for LAN parties or events. It’s slightly deeper than some budget models, but it is still within the acceptable range for shallower desks. It will be bigger than your standard display at school or work, but most should be able to accommodate it even if they have other desktop peripherals. The operating altitude shows the maximum admissible altitude, at which the display will function flawlessly. Above this level it might not operate properly and/or might seize to function.
