According to 1 John 4:17–18 there is a way to approach the day of judgment with fearless confidence. No one who is willing to follow John’s teaching needs to be frightened at the approach of death. None of us who accepts this teaching will have to approach the judgment seat of God with our fingers crossed, wondering if we are going to make it. John wrote this book to give us “confidence for the day of judgment” and to “cast out fear.” How does it happen? Notice, there are three clauses in verse 17: There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. Do you agree that the discipleship process is similar to the process of forming musicians? Why or why not? SPP profile: “I feel as though people are disappointed in me whenever I don't do something perfectly. I think people make excessive demands of me and expect me to be perfect. In general, I feel as though people expect too much from me.”

She recruited people with OCD, healthy controls and 20 people who had embarked on a romantic relationship within the previous six months (it was also specified that they should not have had sexual intercourse and that at least four hours a day were spent thinking of the partner). Both the OCD group and the volunteers who were in love had significantly lower levels of serotonin, and the authors concluded “that being in love literally induces a state which is not normal”. When the “in love” group were followed up six months later, most of their serotonin levels had returned to normal. If you’re seeking perfection in relationships, you’re probably extremely egocentric and very fragile when it comes to managing any kind of conflict. In fact , you’re like a big child who just wants everything to go your way. That’s why you call anything that matches what you want “perfect” and you label anything that doesn’t “imperfect”. This approach builds on the foundation of the General Rules and the practice of "watching over one another in love" through small-group accountability. To some people, it implies a state of excellence when there’s nothing more to add or deduct. To others, perfection refers to the accomplishment of personal goals and ambitions.Oyin and Henry’s story is one unmarried people can smile about and married people will remember with abashed fondness. It is a story about choosing to love every day, remembering that you both want each other to be happy, and that Two are better than One so we need to work together. Ronke Abidoye took this situation one step further and added in the stress of visiting family, old friends, and multicultural relationships. I especially enjoyed her portrayal of Oyin and Henry’s weaknesses they were frank and realistic in their insecurities and while I have never been in a multicultural relationship, I thought that Ronke Abidoye explained the situation very well and brought it down to parents needing to learn love and acceptance; and in Henry’s case learning to give up his insecurities. Because in the end we are all Sons and Daughters of the Most High. As machines become more and more efficient and perfect, so it will become clear that imperfection is the greatness of man." Life isn’t meant to be lived perfectly…but merely to be lived. Boldly, wildly, beautifully, uncertainly, imperfectly, magically lived." Did you remember your Valentine’s week? You may remember your love or the gifts but what about the place where you got this. Observation in love makes you perfect. According to me parks and gardens are made to add richness to the memories of love. They are the best place to confess your love. But it’s all the fake thing. Don’t think too much about the location or how can we call the person to such place?, will he be comfortable here? This thing doesn’t matter. What matters is that the person is comfortable with you. After all he has to spent his life with you.

Perfection is overrated, boring. It’s the imperfections-the vulnerabilities, the weaknesses, the human elements-that make us who we are, that make us real, beautiful…necessary. ― Guy Harrison Strong's 235: But, except, however. Neuter plural of allos; properly, other things, i.e. contrariwise. II. A BLESSED EFFECT OF EVIDENCE OF SUCH LOVE. "That we may have boldness in the day of judgment." What are we to understand by the day of judgment? We are certainly not to exclude from our thoughts days of trial, such as may come upon us in the course of life, or at death. Nor can we doubt that the perfection of love would greatly contribute to our boldness at such times. But the mind of the apostle is manifestly directed to the final judgment. In that dread hour they who have cultivated the grace of love shall be enabled to meet it with boldness. How so? This boldness cannot be said to arise out of love as the reason or ground of it. Were it so viewed, its deficiencies would fill us with terror and cover us with confusion. Neither our love nor any other grace can be pleaded for our acceptance at the bar of God. Yet there is an important sense in which boldness in the day of judgment is dependent on the cultivation of love. As love is cultivated, the evidence of our union with Christ is manifested. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment; and the one fearing has not been perfected in love.Strong's 906: (a) I cast, throw, rush, (b) often, in the weaker sense: I place, put, drop. A primary verb; to throw. The question isn’t whether the world is perfect. The real question to consider is: If it were, would you still be in it? ― Eric Micha’el Leventhal I'm not looking for the perfect man. I'm looking for the man whose imperfections I can put up with." Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God
