Lo llevo ahora mismo y en mi piel resalta un iris empolvado con un toque de cuero que me encanta. Le da cuerpo y elegancia. Además le acompaña un aura de fragancia verde, que será por la tomatera. Esta fragancia aunque tiene en su nombre "acqua" no es precisamente una esencia acuática, mas bien a ese Adn iris-gourmand le agregaron unas notas cítricas de mandarina y algunas verdes un poco extrañas (pero mágicas) de tomate verde o quizas de las hojas de la tomatera que junto a la salvia y la gamuza(no cuero, al menos yo lo siento así) dan cierto toque aterciopelado a la fragancia, la salida es fresca y se distingue ese acorde cítrico-verde el cual esendulzado por ese adn del orignal de nueces y chocolate que aunque no esten listadas te recuerdan al ADN de la fragancia original, todo esto con el sello atalcado del iris acompañando de un timido pachuli que otorga cierto toque levemente terroso.

The house of Valentino is a great fragrance house, and despite their slightly smaller collection, they still managed to produce some of the nicer fragrances on the market. As you’ve probably noticed, the fragrances on this list are all from the ‘Valentino Uomo’ line. This is actually the only real men’s fragrance line from the house of Valentino. And those ‘Valentino Uomo’ fragrances are all based around a gourmand, sweet fragrance. Therefore, most men’s Valentino fragrances have a similar type of scent.

People really seem to like it, especially early on, when the citrus is popping. Uomo Acqua is one that will draw complements. It’s super fresh and quite sexy. Todo lo que he probado de Valentino hasta ahora y la clásica Uomo EDT es una de mis favoritas de diseñador, por lo que encontrarme con esta versión fresca me ha dado mucha ilusión y ha superado mis expectativas. Fragancia muy fresca, elegante y derechamente rica, en donde mi subjetividad me hace pensar en un híbrido entre el ADN Valentino y Prada L'Homme L'Eau, pero con un toque de originalidad que no la hace redundante con ningún perfume de ambas marcas. Me he puesto la fragancia hace 5 horas y la sigo percibiendo, por lo que la fijación es buena. Eso si, la estela moderada. Como todos los perfumes de Valentino contemporáneos. Scent: Valentino Uomo Born In Roma is the newest flanker of the Valentino Uomo line. This time, it’s Valentino’s take on the bubblegum-like fragrances for men. This fragrance opens with a sweet, slightly aquatic scent. There’s a subtle salty undertone detectable as well. After a little while, you can start to notice a fresh, yet spicy scent. The base of this fragrance adds some woody notes, which goes great with the sweet, slightly aquatic opening. Overall, this isn’t the most unique fragrance on the market, but it’s definitely not a bad one.

That being said, I do wish it was stronger. I wish Valentino would make an intense version, but not make too many changes to the formula, and have it smell like this. No son perfumes opulentos ni complejos pero son muy llevables y destilan la elegancia. Además sus frascos son de un gusto exquisito. The top notes of mandarin and citron are great, but the key here is the tomato leaf note. It’s not used in that many mainstream fragrances, but it is actually a gem of an ingredient.Other times, just wearing it around the house, I might squeeze an extra hour of wear from this Valentino. El perfume Valentino Uomo y sus flankers los veo diferentes a los Dior Homme. Este último tiene la estela mejor, pero el dulzor lo veo de cumarina, no de vainilla. En el Valentino Uomo, el dulzor es más suave y parecido al praline con avellanas (un toque gourmand distinto, más suave).
