Bellona is the Roman goddess of war: the Roman counterpart to the Greek war goddess Enyo. She prepared the chariot of her brother Mars when he was going to war, and appeared in battles armed with a whip and holding a torch. Andraste is a Celtic war goddess invoked [30] by Boudica while fighting against the Roman occupation of Britain in AD 61. [31] Uda Devi ( –1857) was a warrior who fought in the Battle of Sikandar Bagh in November 1857, part of the India Rebellion of 1857.

Tribhuwana Wijayatunggadewi, was a Javanese queen regnant and the third Majapahit monarch, reigning from 1328 to 1350. She appointed Gajah Mada as prime minister and pursued massive expansion of the empire.
