About this deal

months on rechargeable battery (operation period when stored in total darkness with the power save function on after full charge) About the Watch Design. The MTGB1000VL of the MT-G series of watches, which are known for a construction that combines metal and resin, boasts a striking multi-colored design that represents volcanic lightning. What we like in MTG-B1000 *comments by experts with 10years experience in writing about Casio watches The MTGB1000VL reproduces the frightening yet beautiful blue, purple, and gold colors of the lightning caused by a volcanic eruption with a rainbow ion-plated bezel and a multi-colored dial. The rainbow-colored bezel finished with ion plating is overlaid with the image of the rare atmospheric phenomenon of volcanic lightning, which produces subtle differences in coloring that allow each wearer to enjoy their own unique glow. The MTGB1000VL is also the first MT-G series model to use a semi-translucent red soft urethane material for the band—to represent the aggression of magma bubbling up—rendering a distinct image of power on the wrist. Approximately 18 months on rechargeable battery (operation period when stored in total darkness with the power save function on after full charge)

Tough Solar (CASIO’s original solar-charging system converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other sources into power)A core guard structure is used to protect the module by integrating the lug arms and pipes that connect the band. Carbon fiber reinforced resin is used for the center case to reduce weight and improve impact resistance. For the first time in an MT-G series watch, this model uses of a soft, mid-size urethane band, improving wearability and making the connection between the case and band vibration-resistant.

I posted the crown guards photo to display the level Casio goes to in finishing and in all honesty, the photo is terrible hahaha. I don't do Casio justice. The crown guards actually have 7 facets and the crispness holds up under a loupe. My MRG really did blow my mind and in terms of case finishing, still stands as the standard bearer. To be fair, at the end of the day the MRG case is without a doubt finished to a higher degree. It has the most complex case of any watch I own (yes, including my Grand Seikos even with a 44gs case) and the most impressive finishing, but I found that little bit of detail interesting. The details on the MRG are just incredible in my opinion (I'll post a pic of the multifaceted crown guards to help illustrate how insane it is), but still, you really are about 85-90% there with the b2000. Polishing technique is applied to selected areas of the case and the bezel to create stunning mirror-finished surfacesWhat bothers me is the same issue I had with the 2000; why have a mechanism to easily change the bands if you don’t have the bands readily available? The mechanism for changing the bands on the 3000 model is even easier than what was on the 2000 model yet sourcing the pieces to complete a band is a giant pain in the ass. It should not be this difficult to get a replacement part, especially when Casio is advertising swapping the bands as a highlighted feature of this watch. A high-capacity solar-charging system harnesses the power of any light source for reliable watch operation with minimal impact to the environment. months on rechargeable battery (operation period with normal use without exposure to light after charge) The camouflage detail is complemented with gold accents visible across the analogue dial as well as gold coloured buttons and crown.
