Medicines and their possible side effects can affect people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that may be associated with Rhinocort aqua. Just because a side effect is stated here doesn't mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect.

Rhinocort Aqua contains the active ingredient budesonide, which is a corticosteroid medicine. Corticosteroids have anti-inflammatory properties, meaning they can reduce and prevent inflammation inside the nose. The precise mechanism of corticosteroid actions on inflammation in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis is not well known. Inflammation is an important component in the pathogenesis of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Corticosteroids have a wide range of inhibitory activities against multiple cell types (e.g., mast cells, eosinophils, neutrophils, macrophages, and lymphocytes) and mediators (e.g., histamine, eicosanoids, leukotrienes, and cytokines) involved in allergic and non-allergic-mediated inflammation. These anti-inflammatory actions of corticosteroids may contribute to their efficacy in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Pharmacodynamics Prior to initial use, the container must be shaken gently and the pump must be primed by actuating eight times. If used daily, the pump does not need to be reprimed. Shake the container gently before each use. you are, or have recently been, using any other product containing a corticosteroid, including creams, ointments, tablets, asthma medicines, eye drops or other nasal sprays or drops The priming effect remains for about 24 hours.
