Grogu had spent enough of his time in empty spaces trying to stay away from people. Staying right where he was. Not moving. That had been pretty awful and he didn’t really want to repeat that. Plus, the Mandalorian needed Grogu handy incase something bad happened and someone needed to be healed. How do you go on an adventure and not bring the first aid kit? These people… well some of them at least, had probably joined the Empire because they had nothing better in their life and that was sad. But the others, most of the others, based on the two who had grabbed him on Nevarro, were just awful people who were happy to do awful things to make their boss happy. He and the Mandalorian had continued their adventures and when he finally returned from Luke’s Jedi Sleep Away Camp, Peli had been excited to see him. Well, he had missed her and all the droids as well. R2-D2 was great and the builder mechs were pretty cool, but Grogu had missed the pit droids and Treadwell and R5.
Tuskens were very attached to their banthas. To a Tusken, a bantha was a friend, a protector, a mode of transportation, food (milk), a source of fiber for weaving… he could go on but you got the vid. They were important to Tuskens. And the Tuskens took great care of them. It was almost like if a Tusken’s bantha was killed, stolen, whatever, that Tusken ceased to exist. Not actually, but it was really close to that. He must have been pretty special because the Mandalorian was willing to have Cobb look after Grogu if things had gone bad with the Krayt dragon. But then the Marshal had noticed Grogu right away and thought that children should be protected from violence. Din Djarin hadn’t worried about that as much. Of course he had known that Grogu had seen worse and was likely to see worse again. Two men just being at crossed purposes initially wasn’t all that dangerous.The calendar comes with a playmat and different modules that can be connected and rearranged to create a playground for all the pets to play in. Kids can find the Christmas box and decorate and customize the Christmas tree with a range of colorful dots. He knew that Imps were always after him. And the people they brought in to help them after the Empire collapsed. He didn’t want the people who had helped him, simply because they were good hearted people to get in trouble because trouble followed him like his shadow. Easy peasy. But when they were with Peli, the Mandalorian preferred that Grogu not show off. That meant he had to do things the harder way or ask for help. If he’d been a baby he would have just done it anyway and tried to look extra cute so Din would be all ‘Awww, that’s my boy’ instead of ‘Grogu, I told you no!’
Rancors, mud horns, bantha, eopies, and the mighty Krayt dragon were amazing things and very pretty, from a certain perspective. No one ever wanted to be under them, getting squished, but riding them was pretty cool. Taking care of them. Brushing, washing, scratching, all those things were part of how anyone could interact with nature and be better for it.
