About this deal

There has been some healthy controversy surrounding them due to a few studies finding paraben presence in breast tumours and breast tissue. However, the majority of the scientific community have deemed these findings non-conclusive due to the limitations of these studies. If not, don't worry about it - they do have had one of the longest safety records as preservatives! Most people will find no issues with sulfate, however if you find your skin doesn't like sulfates then free feel to avoid them by looking out for the sulfate-free icon on Skincarisma. Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract: A traditional Chinese herbal medicine loaded with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory flavonoids such as baicalin, baicalein, and wogonin . Personally I have been really happy using the Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream! I find it very soothing especially when my skin is reactive or sensitive after exfoliating and doesn’t cause my acne prone face to breakout. I’ve also found this works great under makeup and as a primer, there is no pilling at all. It can take a couple of minutes to fully absorb which I am ok with. I would have liked a pump bottle as I don’t really like using products in jars, (I worry too much about germs getting in the products) but clearly it's not a deal breaker for me as I am on my third jar.Allantoin: A soothing, skin-softening and protecting ingredient, it can also promote wound healing. There's still a lot of support for avoiding parabens following the better safe than sorry route. If you do we completely support you!

It’s also awesome to see that it’s free of potential irritants like fragrance, artificial color, and parabens. At SkinCarisma, we've done our best to identify as many ingredients as possible but note the fungal-free label may not be 100% accurate due to the complexconditions and combination of ingredients that malezzeria can thrive on. As a result, please note this is only an experimental label that can be best used to possible identify problematic products you have used in the past. It is in no way a perfect identifier nor a predictor in whether or not it will exacerbate or cause fungal acne. It will continue to be worked on as more information and research comes to light.Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green tea): Antioxidant (Polyphenol) + Anti-inflammatory (Polyphenol) + Antimicrobial (Catechins)

It’s suited for irritated skin, sensitive skin, or ‘weak/fragile skin’, but I find even for normal skin/dry skin this is perfect! I mostly use this as a basic, regular moisturizer, and then for days that my skin is feeling more irritated or slightly sunburnt, I like to use the Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream (review here).
