About this deal

Although not the X model, but one of my new mini micron stopped working in the rain today, ok now dried out...Not good though Have to agree here. JR have outstanding customer service. Sorted out an issue with my new XD bivvy in no time. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit. Seriously, You think so? a company that cant give any guidelines to the specifications of their products???

Build quality wise seem decent, not amazing and definitely not in same league as the new Dells, but seem solid. Not as shiny as they looked in some pictures. I would say the heads look and feel ok, buttons and switch seem positive, battery cover is a good fit. The receiver does look and feel a little cheap, but then again it's not going to be sitting out there in all weather's. My only gripe is the LED's on the receiver could have been bigger and brighter, or have a fish eye lens to enhance them. At the end of the day they are only mid entry alarms.FOX---Thank you for your question. Microns are always difficult to determine since this is entirely subject to the circumstances. The Fox Mini Micron's unique design allows it to be paired with a range of accessories, such as a bobbin, hanger or Swinger (for the Fox range), to ensure you never miss a catch. The LED's on this alarm are highly visible, even in low light conditions, making sure you never miss a bite. The LED intensity is also adjustable, giving you full control over your bite alarm. Fox Bite Alarms and Receivers are engineered with utmost precision, ensuring accurate detection of line movement or vibrations. With Fox's innovative technology, anglers can rely on these devices to provide timely alerts for every bite.

Really? Fair enough, I think it's always a very handy feature of any alarm to know what way the line has moved. Maybe it's just me! Out of interest do they hold the settings so if you put the heads on silent volume setting will they remain like that necmxt time you turn off and on again? Reported to supplier but they seem to think it's not a problem. I also bought an additional alarm to make it a 3 rod set but the additional alarm would not sync with the volumeless receiver. I messaged Fox and they asked for pics of the serial numbers in the battery bay, once they received the pics they sent a new alarm out in the post f.o.c which paired straight away, they didn’t really elaborate too much when I asked what the problem was as it was something they could diagnose though the serial no

I left it in sunshine in 30 degrees, cover off, battery cover off, for three days. No joy unfortunately. Two Ø5mm High Vis Multi coloured LED’s, Green, Blue, Red and Orange Colour selected by holding down volume button and pressing sensitivity button to change

Designed for anglers of all skill levels, Fox Bite Alarms and Receivers are user-friendly and adaptable to various fishing conditions. Their sleek design and easy-to-use features make them an ideal choice for any angling enthusiast. Must be lower quality materials i thought that when I've seen videos they seem cloudy. Having said that 178 quid for a 3 rod set from poingestres isn't breaking the bank so we shall see...that is if i ever get to use them lol. . Has anyone else noticed a slight discoloration on the led's? Mine seem to have a slight dirty tiny to them, not seen it on other alarms before. What’s the battery life like on the head units on these. I’m trying to decide between these and Nash Siren R3’s. It's not about that though. It's the signal strength that is important. You'd be surprised how poorly some perform when there is heavy foliage or other obstructions between the alarms and receiver. MYSELF---The fox rx+ has a certified range in clear circumstances. There should also be one for this model. What is the certified range in clear circumstances? Complement your Fox Bite Alarms with a Fox Receiver System. These systems allow you to receive alerts from multiple alarms at once, making it a must-have accessory for anglers seeking a streamlined and efficient angling setup. Take the Plunge with Fox Bite Alarms and Receivers The Fox Mini Micron X Receiver, featuringdigital I-com circuitry, providing exceptionalsignal strength. Designed to work with the current generation 2 alarm heads, andsuper easy to pair. With additional features like a low battery warning and automatic colour sync to match the LED’s on your individualyour alarms.

I know defiant mps buzz bars used to have internal grub screws like you say dont know if they still do. Clear line of sight between alarm and receiver - still working at 195m measured before running out of road. A modern re-worked version of the old school classic Mini Micron Bite Alarm boasting a number of great new features including receiver technology. We’re very for the vague answer but because of all the exceptions it’s hard to make solid promises. if its 20m then its a no go for me. not because i go that far, but my tent is often behind bushes on on an elevation. If the range really is 20m, that means the signal is too weak for my type of fishing.

About this product

That's not the alarms fault though, user error surely as they must be set too sensitive for the conditions. Functions all work well, only criticism are the tones, not brilliant, assuming the speaker is an area they saved money on.
