On the solid state that doesn"t have an effects loop and is blaring loud at volume level one...I use this after my pedal board signal, in front of the amp. This allows more control with the levels and overall better tone/result. I've patched this into the rear FX Loop of my Marshall alongside a cheap but effective Donner Noise Killer and my EarthQuaker Devices delay/reverb - Dispatch Master and it works perfectly! I hate running in Triode mode (power cut in half). I just can't get the true Marshall tones with the legs cut off.
