Reviews

Greene, Andy (4 March 2020). "Genesis' Reunion Tour: 8 Questions We Have". Rolling Stone . Retrieved 4 March 2020. Phil was on a roll in the 1980s,” Rutherford says. “ Everything that he touched came good – everything. His first solo album went ballistic just when we were about to release Duke – it was good timing!” I always feel like a bit of spectator. It’s not real, in a way ... The fame thing doesn’t interest me at all Tony Banks

Philly’s forever love affair with Genesis was on raving full display during the first of two sold out shows at Wells Fargo Center (the second show is Dec. 3). Having not been around for 14 years, the trio’s “Last Domino? Tour” showcase satisfied a wild Philadelphia crowd of predominantly over-40s. The B-side of the " Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" single was the first half of this song, "In the Glow of the Night", while the B-side of " Invisible Touch" was the second part of the song, "The Last Domino". Surely the band and management can see the value of releasing these valuable records of the build-up to the creative process. Sometimes it seems they're simply not interested in the wishes of fans, don't recognise the importance or commercial potential of such material or place any importance on their own legacy. It makes me so MAD! I don’t think we felt much pressure,” adds Banks. “We were confident. You have to remember: it had been such a slow trajectory for Genesis. It was 10 years before we even had anything played on radio!” Daryl Stuermer (guitars) and Nicholas Collins (drums) will join the trio on stage for the shows in the UK and Ireland in 2021. Although it is likely that more shows will follow after 2021, nothing is confirmed right now.Kerzner, Dave (4 March 2020). "Facebook status update from Dave Kerzer". Facebook .
