About this deal

Would a branded promotion influence your decision when purchasing nappy pants? Probably would make me more aware of new products

I’d say they have always been good for leaking till they got to stage 3, I’d also say these ones seem to be a lot better. The nappy pants have easy tear away sides and all-round stretch, making them as convenient as pants but with the absorbency of a nappy. Flexible leg cuffs also help prevent any leaks. Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? I already use Mamia nappies Here they are, side my side. Aldi’s Mamia to the left and Pampers to the right. They look quite similar here, size-wise at least. The huggies car patterned ones as my little one likes to feel older than his brother who is in baby nappiesMaybe a different design for older kids so they don't feel as babyish as their little sibling in nappies Absorbency. My toddler is potty trained and dry all day but will sometimes not wake at night to go to the toilet, resulting in an accident. I need something that will allow him to sleep if he does do a wee at night and not leak everywhere. They are too slim fitting across the bottom as you can see in the photos, so they are almost like thongs (even on my tall skinny 12kg toddler who wears age 4-5 years height clothes). This means that poo always leaks out the sides, onto clothes and soiling them.

Ease of pulling on and off, especially if its putting nappy pants on a toddler who is potty training and who has fallen asleep

Take a look at

I would when we came to potty training, due to the price, but they might be too small by that stage Bethany: I would buy these over and over nappies on the product as the price is great but also I have had no issues with the nappy either. I think the price is what makes it stand out the most but also the awards they have won. To be honest I was quite wary of buying them as they are so cheap but since trying them there is not any other brand I would trust. My baby also seems to not have an issue with them either and have not experienced any nappy rashes whilst using these. Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue. What are the best features of the Aldi Mamia nappy pants that make them ‘mum friendly'? (i.e: ease of use/leaks/storage etc.) cheap and big size

Yes, definitely. I only ever buy pampers when they’re on offer as otherwise they’re just too expensive. What are the best features of the Aldi Mamia nappy pants that make them ‘mum friendly'? (i.e: ease of use/leaks/storage etc.) These cheap nappies have performed brilliantly in our lab and parent user tests, showing that you don’t have to spend a lot to get a decent nappy. Not only do they provide good absorption, the parents who used them found that there were few issues with leakage or irritation for their baby.' Georgina: I would and do recommend these to other mums. The value for money based on price per nappy is unbeatable. They easily last 12 hours for night time sleep without leaking and can even contain a morning poo on top of that. The nappies have a cute design and are clearly marked with the size which is handy if you have multiple children in different size nappies. In summary – bargain price, great capacity, no strange smells and no leaks – PERFECT! Would you choose this product above all others on the market? No leaks, snug fit, enough frills to avoid “poonami overflow” and perfect for my baby’s sensitive skin.’ Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. What are the best features of the Aldi Mamia nappy pants that make them ‘mum friendly'? (i.e: ease of use/leaks/storage etc. The Mamia Ultra Dry Air System™ Nappy Pants range has been specially designed for your on-the-go toddler.

Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? No because lidl and size 6 are better fitting and bigger than the aldi size 7 We buy Mamia because not only is it great value for money but we have found it to be the most absorbent and has the most accurate sizing; beating all of the leading brands that we have tried.’ Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies What brands of nappy pants do you currently use most often? If you use Mamia, what other brands do you use? Pampers. We used Huggies and Sainsbury's little ones pants in the past, but they were both poor quality at the sides, the fake velcro constantly came undone and the pants would fall off. Pampers have stretchy sides so don't have this problem Add that to the results from OUR tests with parents, who liked them for all the specific reasons that we love a good nappy:

The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter. I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” Have you used Aldi Mamia nappy pants before? Yes I had used the size 6 nappy pants when my toddler was potty training.
