About this deal

The driver who is already in the roundabout has the right of way, unless there are traffic lights at the roundabout that govern the flow of traffic. Before you leave the roundabout, you should turn your right turn signal indicator to indicate that you are leaving the roundabout. That is the law in Spain, but it isn’t always followed. When you Drive in Spain, you must understand the road signs! STOP! What about the stop sing in Spanish? You are entering an area where the speed limit applies to all roads until you pass an “End of speed limit zone” sign Any instruction in a red circle tells you something you must not do - in this case, ride your bike beyond this point. Note that only riding is prohibited. You can get off your bike and push it. That’s push it, not scoot it along. Scooting a bike is something a court, should you end up there, would likely rule to be the same as cycling. If you are unsure, you can just stay to the outside lane and keep going around until you know where you need to exit.

You have right of way at all intersections on this road until cancelled by a “Yield”, “Stop” or “End of priority road” sign; parking is prohibited on this road except in built-up areasFor drivers, this sign warns of traffic merging from the left. For cyclists, there’s another meaning that isn’t listed in Know Your Traffic Signs: danger! The merging traffic is likely to be moving faster than you. If the icon on the sign is tilted 45 degrees left, it means ‘traffic merges onto main carriageway’, e.g. from a slip road onto dual carriageway. That’s even more hazardous. Cyclecrafthas good advice on how to deal with such junctions. There are a number of pedestrian zone signs. One common version includes the ‘no vehicles’ sign (see above). This one is different: it specifies ‘no motor vehicles’ so, despite the words ‘pedestrian zone’, it’s permissible to ride a bicycle in this zone, essentially indicating a route for pedestrians and cyclists . . A panel beneath may give the zone’s hours of operation, along with any other exemptions. Parked in a permit space or zone without a valid virtual permit or clearly displaying a valid physical permit where required. Are you heading to nearby Portugal or Morocco? Not to worry, we have driving tips for Portugal and Morocco too. If Autobahn is closed, follow numbered Autobahn route (or red dot / circle) to return to next entrance

School Keep Clear markings mean no stopping during the time and days specified on adjacent or nearby signs. The markings help prevent vehicles from parking near or in front of school entrances, to ensure safe access for children and parents. Below are a few examples of common pedestrian signs that are used in public spaces. These signs are usually available in a range of materials, including rigid plastic, Correx, self-adhesive vinyl and metal (Zintec).. Did you know if there is a green light with the stop sign in Spain, you aren’t supposed to stop! The signal light has a higher priority over the sign, so you follow the light. If the lights happen to be out, then the sign would be there to follow. Explosives That’s all vehicles, including cycles that are being ridden. However, ‘pedal cycles being pushed by hand’ are explicitly exempt. Pedal cycles being scooted aren’t (see above).

But Ihave to say the all time most confusing is the double negative. The red circle alone means don’t, but when there is a slash through it too, does it mean No Don’t? Do 2 no’s make a yes? Are you leaving the right turn area? Maybe it means “We really really mean NO right turn”.
