About this deal

The result is a blazing hot sauce that is potent, even in small quantities. If you aren’t familiar with extra spicy sauces, then Tabasco scorpion may give you a run for your money! Since Tabasco Original Red Sauce is in the mix, anywhere you’d use the original you could give Tabasco Scorpion a go. Though it’s a little sweeter than a typical Louisiana-style hot sauce, so keep that sweetness in mind. It’s an excellent choice for sweeter dishes where Tabasco Original may have been too vinegar-forward to play. I added it to pineapple sorbet, and it changed the eating experience completely (in a good way.)

If you’re a Tabasco super-fan, Tabasco Habanero Sauce certainly is necessary for your collection. But, really, as mentioned, the brand is more known for being those daily drivers you can’t live without. This sauce doesn’t have the same collectible cache as Tabasco Scorpion Sauce, with its surprise take on a super-hot to a line that tends to focus more on a broad user-base. To round out the sauce, Tabasco actually uses their own original sauce as an ingredient. I find this amusing, but it probably helps make Tabasco’s newer sauces hit closer to home. Capsicum chinense peppers have a very aromatic flavor with a very high to extremely high pungency. They are therefore also suitable for the production of extremely hot chili sauces and extracts. So it is not surprising that the Scoville scale is led by Blair’s 16 million reserve. The 16 million in the name stands for 16 million Scoville Heat Units. It is not a sauce, but Pure Capsaicin crystals. But we should mention the label. It does have a noticeable color-pop of red and yellow that fuses over the Original red and white style. It’s there to create a difference, so you know “HEY THIS AIN’T THE ORIGINAL, THIS IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF HEAT KID!” The Score

It’s also a great addition to any rice or potato by adding a peppery sweet heat that’s very different from original Tabasco. This is, of course, great on eggs (as Tabasco always is.) And it works great as a marinade too, you’ll just have to dash it out for quite a while due to the stopper, but dare I say, the Jamaican taste it will provide makes it worth all the arm soreness. What’s most surprising is the use of guava and pineapple as the main accenting flavors. This gives Tabasco scorpion an interesting twist. But guess what? It works.

Reviewing & Articles

Tabasco was very smart with this coloration as it does provide a warning, too. This is not your everyday Tabasco and don’t mistake it for it. You’ll be more than surprised by the heat here. It’s been called the new “King of Sting”, because it’ll sting ya nice and good if you’re not careful. The Score

If you’re a Tabasco fan, this is no doubt a fun collectible. Tabasco Scorpion was supposed to be a limited edition, but people went crazy for it so now it’s here to stay. TABASCO ® Roasted Red Pepper Sauce is made with red peppers–slow roasted over open fire–combined with garlic, onions, basil and balsamic vinegar. The result is a rich, smoky hot sauce perfect with grilled meats, seafood, soups and much more.Habanero peppers sit at the top of the range among true culinary peppers — 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville heat units (SHU). Above that you get into the world of super-hots which are too much heat for most except (except you extreme eaters out there!) Tabasco Habanero is still a relatively thin sauce, so the stopper helps control how much heat you’re adding. That said, you can get a few good dashes in before you really start sweating things out. Collectibility

That said, Tabasco Habanero Sauce doesn’t reach anywhere near the hab’s potential. It comes in at 7,000 SHU, which nestles it right in between Tabasco Original (2,500 SHU) Tabasco Scorpion (7,000 SHU). And, of course, it’s way hotter than Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce (600 to 1,200 SHU). It’s right in line with the spiciness you experience when eating a fresh jalapeño pepper (2,500 to 8,000 SHU). So, where can this extra-spicy sauce be used? It comes in a tiny bottle, so keep in mind that a little goes a long way with this one!In terms of heat balance, this isn’t the kind of sauce that’s just hot for the sake of being hot; as mentioned, it has a ton of flavor. And the balance is about just right. Usability Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any malfunctions, errors or failures that are human or technical in nature. So, to bring things full circle, today I’ll share my review of Tabasco Scorpion hot sauce. This is the hottest sauce that Tabasco currently offers, using scorpion peppers as a main ingredient. Let’s get into it! This exclusive hot sauce was once reserved for only the McIlhenny family and close friends, but now you can enjoy this flavor any time! TABASCO ® Family Reserve Sauce is made from special, hand-selected peppers and Avery Island salt. The unique pepper mash is aged for up to eight years in white oak barrels–much longer than the three-year aging process for TABASCO ® Original Red Sauce–and blended with white wine vinegar.
