About this deal

As the three of them are forced to play house, they fall into a routine and it would be easy for Lana and Cal to imagine a life together but the looming end of the summer and Cal leaving is one of the things that has Lana holding onto any sense of letting herself fall again for the man who so obviously wants to become someone who is worthy of her time. As much as I love the grumpy sunshine trope going on with the first two books, I love the golden retriever energy that Cal has and his undying loyalty that he has. I love his determination to change for himself and becoming a person who would be deserving of a better life. Lauren Asher: I am excited to be working on a new series that will be a part of the Dreamland/ Dirty Air universe.

As for the couple, it is so easy to love them. They are both hurt from their past and can’t let it go, but at the same, they can't stay away from each other. Even while they’re trying to shut down their feelings for each other and to put some distance between them, fearing for the worst, it’s impossible not to hope for them to get together—not when their chemistry and interactions always feel so light and natural. Their fears—mostly hers—and hesitations are totally comprehensible and fair—which led to some painful scenes, but also made it delightful to see the way they both worked hard and put effort in making things right this time. It has plenty of spice in it if that's your thing, for me I ended up skimming some of it as it was repetitive. But if this is your thing you won't be disappointed. Culturess: Your upcoming release is Final Offer which is book 3 in your Dreamland Billionaires series so I have to ask are you a Disney fan and if so, what inspired you to write a series centered around a similar establishment? Cal is totally swoonworthy; not only is he a committed cat dad, but he is also so sweet to Lana’s daughter, Cami, and it was very cute to see Cal develop an almost instant dad-like connection with Cami. Seeing how Cal learned to use books as a healthier way of coping with some of his mental health struggles was great to see and I think that other readers will connect with this as well. My favourite part of Final Offer was the epic trip to Dreamland (the Kane family’s Disney-esque theme park), which included a princess makeover and fireworks! Asher included some comedic elements in this novel that were brilliant; for example, Cal unknowingly volunteers to dress-up in an embarrassing costume for the community Strawberry festival. It was great having the other Kane brothers (and their significant others) still part of the plot in Final Offer and made regular appearances throughout the novel. Without spoiling anything, I felt like the ending, both of this story and the series, was very fitting.Culturess: I’m sure a lot of us are going to have a book hangover after finishing Final Offer. Do you have any recommendations for books you’d suggest reading after it? Final Offer by Lauren Asher is the much anticipated third and final book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. We’ve already read Rowan and Declan’s story in The Fine Print and Terms & Conditions, now it’s time for Cal’s.

Their story is also about forgiveness, trust and healing. It is full of angsty, but also beautiful moments. In general, the characters' pains, fears and feelings made them relatable, and their journeys and development were amazing and very well worked. Besides, I love how Cal made it clear that he wanted to get better not only for Lana and Cami, but for himself—for him to be the man he knows he can be, a man that deserves them. It showed how much he'd grown and it is the best development his character could've had! Perfect for fans of Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score and It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey. Even the addition of a cute child and an overbearing town could not save Final Offer from itself. It is beautifully written, but the plot fell short for me. where do i even start with this book? cal is 100% my favourite brother and the complexity to cal and lana’s relationship is so passionate. with cals addiction and lana’s trust issues working against them they don’t let anything get in their way of being with eachother.

When I broke her heart six years ago, I promised to never return to Lake Wisteria. I kept my word until my grandfather’s will changed everything. I did however love how the Kane family reunited and interacted throughout the book. It gave me all the warm and fuzzy feelings to see all three brothers conquer their demons and create the family they deserved. Clare thought that by now she would have her life figured out. Instead, she's living with her parents, working a job she hates and has absolutely no idea what she wants to do with the rest of her life.
