This one has been on my radar for YEARS, its a classic scent that to me, feels like its been around forever. I always saw it in the Boots Christmas catalogue as a gift set, being pushed at perfume stores,etc its just always been "there", I've never really felt the urge to buy any Ghost fragrances and thats not because they're bad scents, I just never really felt attracted to them, but I have sampled a few over the years and they are really well made scents. When you smell it up close it REALLY is like a vintage rose perfume, with a soft sweetness and peach that gives it a much more modern twist. This perfume creates magic when it hits the air and has dried down a bit. It really trails behind you beautifully like a wisp of...I don't really know..but something special for sure...it has a calming effect and I think the name is SO apt! Very sweet rose perfume, not the best but nice to wear. I can't smell peach or anything else, on my it's mostly rose and vanilla, a bit of musk.It is a universal perfume; great at night and on the cold morning as well as on a hot sunny day. It smells really divine, it is a ''tasty'' fragrance well worth attention. The opening is very intense, its a mixture of everything in this fragrance hitting you at once, but giving it time to settle down, it reveals a warm, jammy rose which does, as others have said, remind me of Turkish delight but its not really very sweet, the abrette and incense adds some whispy smokey tones to it and makes it feel like a high end rose massage oil or essential oil blend. The amber and sandalwood peak out during the later stages of the drydown, but predominantly, it is a smokey, warm rose, a very snuggly rose which is soft and has no thorns, I think the vanilla orchid helps to soften the harshness and adds that snuggly feel. Despite the issues with sillage and longevity, I have had compliments on this one. I think it’s more than suitable for the office and everyday errands, as I said, I’m pretty sure I’ve smelt this on a colleague.
