About this deal

So we’ve already covered cowboys, now let’s move on to teddy bears. You’re probably wondering what on earth a teddy bear could teach you about living your best life. I truly enjoyed this book. Although the self-help and self-awareness concepts were not necessarily new, groundbreaking, or different from similar books, the personal stories helped me connect with the realities and similarities in my life. I especially appreciated the connection with how he learned to better value his connection to family over striving for success. The description of the lions who are chasing the flag (or success) and the importance of not chasing the flag at the expense of those you treasure was very impacted personally. Thank you for this book. While I know your quest was not to gain my accolades, I appreciate that you provided humour and insight into much of what drives us all. I pulled some great gems out of your words!

When you feel safe, like you can protect yourself, you will be willing to journey further into the unknown and take on bigger risks. So these tools are not just for preparation—they’ll also lead to more opportunity. Reading this gave me a sense of optimism and I feel motivated to live my life better and in a more fulfilling manner. Stream It Or Skip It: ‘Lynch/Oz’ on Criterion Channel, a Film-Study Documentary Digging Deep Into David Lynch's Influences I normally don't read nonfiction books, but I love his stand-up and figured. Why not?And I'm very glad I did. This was a brief fun read that feels like advice or a pep talk from a friend. He makes solid points of the monster we all carry but in a funny and relatable enough way without making it sound like what to do or as a parent talking down. I would recommend this to anyone who has an hour free and just doesn't know what to do. Flip the frame like this: it’s not even about putting up with discomfort, it’s about refusing to put up with comfort. I refuse to allow mediocrity. I refuse to put up with anything less than my best.

Comparison – Comparing yourself to others, whether that is above or below yourself, will always take your focus away from where you need to be. All that matters is that you are doing your best This year I've started my own personal fitness journey, and this is so true!! I keep reminding myself consistentency is the KEY!)

Entertainment icon Kevin Hart, the number one New York Times bestselling author of I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons, shares fifteen heartfelt lessons about harnessing your potential in the here and now. Yes. Fatherhood is based on the true story of Matt Logelin, and the screenplay is adapted from Logelin’s 2011 memoir, Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love. What is the Fatherhood true story? You have your journey and someone else will have theirs. There’s never any need for two journeys to end in conflict. Let’s focus on lifting each other up, not tearing each other down. I saw the monsters in me and I saw the monsters in every one of my teammates. 🤣🤣 When you know better, you do better. A good read for every leader. Only on Audible. Noel Fielding Almost Chokes Up Sending Two Bakers Home on 'The Great British Baking Show' "Pastry Week"A segment makes it seem as if this was originally an audiobook, Hart refers to the listener perhaps hearing his stomach growling, but no such audiobook yet exists. Perhaps a future release yet to come.

it's about the monsters he is still fighting in his life the monsters that made him a multi multi millionaire. First of all, the prose is sturdy, effective, and accessible without condescending to the reader. The story is simple and relatable to kids, with a group of middle schoolers trying to make a movie together. The real triumph, however, is the characters. They are fun, interesting, and emotionally complex. They are all deeply flawed with some being violent, some being petty, and others cruel , while some are all three. Somehow, though, the book makes you forgive / understand/ and root for all the characters through all of their squabbles and disagreements. Me? Well my monster is a multi-headed monster. My monster’s first head, is the “not me.” It’s that monster that says, it wasn’t me - nope, I didn’t do it (pretty sure my kids have this monster too!) The “not me” monster also touts the phrase - it can’t, and absolutely won’t happen to me - others yes, but hell to the no - not me.One thing Hart prides himself on is his ability to be on time. If he’s expected to show up on a movie set, he’ll be there well before his call-time. Why? Because he doesn’t want to waste anyone’s time – and he holds everyone else to the same standard. One of the biggest things that takes people’s eyes off their prize is comparison. Because people often aren’t solid in themselves and don’t have their mental game right, they’re constantly looking around wondering, How do I look? Do they think I’m cool? Do they like where I’m headed? Is it going to get me laid? What are they doing? Shit, maybe that’s what I should be doing too. Disclaimer : I received e-copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. In this book, the tables are turned. Kevin Hart isn’t just a box office juggernaut and superstar comedian. My second monster’s head is that of the, “do it all monster.” I’m the gal who thinks why ask others to do it; when I can do it the right way, the way it should be done. This is also known as the “Brandy Way.”
