About this deal

Dear SF Said I am very pleased to hear about the writing of the book Tiger. Hopefully it will be released soon. Also, I'm waiting for the book Phoenix, translate into Russian that I could read it. I was 13 years old when I read the book Varjak paw, I still hope that the third book will be released! I absolutely adore your book Phoenix. I hope a part two comes out as I love star signs and the galaxy. The book Phoenix is my favorite one out of my school library! Thank so much for your fantastic comment! I'm really glad that you and your classmates enjoyed the Varjak Paw books. I am planning to write a third one, one day; I wrote a bit about my idea for it here. In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy my new book Phoenix too – it might sound quite different on the surface, but I think it has a lot in common with Varjak Paw. hi sf said my name is daisy i love your 2 books varjak paw and i would love to know if you are making a new book of varjak paw because i love them so much and i want to read more I wanted to say thank you for writing such a great book. In the meantime, I hope you'll give Phoenix a go, even though it's not a Varjak Paw book. I'm still thinking about it, even though I finished writing it more than a year ago! Thank you so much for this amazing comment - it really means a huge amount to me to hear reactions like this to Phoenix. I'm so glad that you and your class are enjoying it, and that it's even helping you with your own writing! Thank you so much for your lovely message! Of course I remember you - I'm not going to forget the first lady Dr Who in a hurry! And thank you so much for asking about my new books! Yes, I'm writing one right now - or possibly three! It's a trilogy called TYGER. I wrote about it in this blog post - have a look and see what you think... Hello Jacob, Isaac and Sam! Thank you for your question. I was inspired to write about cats by watching my own cat's adventures as he went out into the world for the first time. I wrote a little bit about that in this blog. I based Varjak on my own cat, who was also called Varjak Paw. I wrote a little about him in this blog post. Firstly, thank you for writing such a fantastic book - the children are completely engrossed and it has inspired some incredible writing (their best yet)! We read it as often as possible and I am always met with groans and protests when we have to stop.

Phoenix by SF Said – review | Children and teenagers | The

Hello Sf. Said, your book Phoenix is amazing! Your ideas for this book is very interesting, I just cant put the book down! It leaves a cliffhanger after every chapter. Where did you get the idea for this book? Also why did you choose this idea? This would be interesting! Thanks! Hi Mikey, and thank you for your comment! I have answered that question already - you can find my answers in my replies to Mrs Scott and Emilia, just above your comment. I hope my next book TYGER won't be too much longer - here's a post I made about it, if you'd like to know more: Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I've now been working on the TYGER project for 7 years, and I really do believe it's the best thing I've written so far. I hope it will be finished this year, but it takes as long as it takes to make a book as good as you can make it! Hello! Thank you so much for your kind comment - I have great memories of visiting Newton Aycliffe. I'm really glad to hear you're still enjoying Phoenix, and it's great to hear you've been writing! Perhaps the best thing would be if you could pass your writing on to Mrs. Laing or one of your other teachers, and then they could forward it to me.

What a lovely comment - thank you so much! It really means a lot that you've been recommending Phoenix to all your friends and family. The book took me 7 years to write, but all the hard work feels worthwhile when I hear a reaction like that! Tha First of all, thank you so much for leaving me that amazing comment. Phoenix took me seven years to write, but all the hard work feels worthwhile when I hear a response like that. So thank you - you've made my day! I am definitely planning to write a third book about Varjak one day - and you'll be glad to hear that I think it will be about Varjak as an older cat! I wrote a bit about my idea for it here:

The new book I'm writing right now is called TYGER and I do think it will be even better than Phoenix and the Varjak books, when it's ready. But I want it to be the very best book it can possibly be, so I'm going to keep going for as long as it takes. That's how I wrote the others, and it was always worth it in the end. I wrote a little bit about it here - please do look out for it one day! What an amazing thing for an author to hear - thank you so much! I cried a lot while writing Phoenix too, so I'm glad you had the same reaction while reading it! I hope you enjoy Varjak Paw too. And please give my best to Lexi and everyone at Whitworth – it was a real pleasure visiting your school and meeting you all!I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books, and I'm amazed and honoured that you've read Phoenix 21 times. Who's your favourite character, and what's your favourite bit? All in all, your books have been a huge inspiration to me (even leading to me doing a small amount of my own story writing when I have the time). I guess there isn't really anything else I can say, other than thank you so much and I am writing on behalf of year 4, Holmleigh Primary School, who have really enjoyed reading Varjak Paw as a class. They can't wait to read The Outlaw Varjak Paw and we already have a waiting list for Phoenix. You have really inspired us and helped us with our writing.
