I need a downlighter to illuminate our house sign which is mounted on an east facing wall. Does the Truro produce sufficient light for this purpose or can it be fitted with more powerful LEDs? I would only need it to light up for six or so hours. is there a setting to turn them on so they are constantly illuminated? or is it only periodically with motion detection? and is it only motion activated at night or all day? and roughly how long is it illuminated before it times out? Please can you remind me of the two settings to ensure that I get maximum use during the shorter winter days please ( I note that switching off for 5 days to fully charge is also recommended in an earlier question) Is there a way to fix this light to an outside wall without the need to drill into the wall. We have a render system on our house and are therefore unable to drill into the wall without breaching the render and making it ineffective. Thanks Is is possible to turn off the light without removing the diffuser? With the evenings getting darker I would like the light to remain on, but when I retire to bed to turn it off. If this facility is not available with the Truro, is it on any of your other solar wall lights?My front door is too close to a public cut way so the 6m range is too far and will constantly be on and off, drawing attention to the door. Will these work in a north facing position? The front of our house is open/ not obstructed by anything eg trees but it is north facing so gets little to no direct sunlight. Would these lights work? In a previous reply you say this is not suitable for a North facing wall which is understandable but how long will it stay lit on an east facing location.? It is not motion sensitive so this is important info. Can you turn the light on constantly if you want to have it on for an evening outside or is it only motion sensor?
