About this deal

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect. Finish: beautifully consistent with the flavour development. Leaves pleasant wood and grape flavours that linger for a good length. Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, your use of and membership to the Service are exclusively governed by Dutch law. We shall first try to settle any dispute over a dram of whisky. Disputes that cannot be settled over multiple drams of whisky shall be solely submitted to the court of Amsterdam, The Netherlands unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.

Nose: Rich sherry, honey, and fruitcake. Cinnamon spice (and everything nice!) and cloves coming out. The nose is very similar to the 12yr and 18yr, in that they are all heavily sherried. The difference would be that the 16yr has a very spicy profile in addition to the sherry notes. Being a lover of sherry-finished whiskies, I could sit here and nose this sweet dram all night! Mmmmmm.... Don't get me wrong, I will gladly drink both again along with a good premium cigar, of course. It's amazing what a premium cigar will do to the overall taste and pleasure of these 2 or any other single malt scotch. But love is a smoke made with the fume of sighs, and I am but a rogue and peasant slave. Yea, distracted was I by my love’s fair sibling of a fortnight and two, for from fairest creatures we desire increase. Burun : Kuru üzüm, incir, vanilya, karamel, bal ve akçaağaç şurubu gibi tatlı aromalara tarçın, meşe, hafif malt ve bitter kokuları eşlik ediyor. Yumuşak ve dengeli. Not very surprising this one, exactly what you might expect of such an Aberlour: Decent, pretty full, smooth, not too complex. Red fruits, raisins, some honey.

The Glenlivet’s 12-year-old expression is extremely popular, and for good reason. It’s priced affordably and has a really approachable palate, according to Chris Dempsey, bartender at Xaman in Dallas. “It’s not too peaty, and it’s really the best everyday drinking whisky for a great price,” he says. Aberlour 08-year-old Campbell's Distillery - cubic bottle, screw cap, "over 8 years old", Est. 1845 Finish: Lovely. Cherry, vanilla, accompanied again by smoke and oak. That sherry leaves a nice impression. This roundup was edited by Jesse Porter, who finds that keeping a bottle of scotch on his desk next to his computer helps improve his overall workflow and thus writes it off monthly as a business expense. This kind of reverses on the palate - the toffee takes centre stage with the fruit hiding behind it. Very soft and smooth. Does anyone remember Toffo sweets? Toffees with different fruit flavours, (not seen them for years). Well this whisky reminds me exactly of them - particularly the apple flavoured ones.

A bit of roasted macadamia nut, but just a hint. There is just a bit of dryness coming out at the end, getting your attention and reminding you that you are drinking whisky. I wouldn't compare Aberlour 16yr-dbl-csk to Aberlour A'bunadh. A better comparison, for me, is to Taliskers 10yr. Having tasted both the hard or harshness after taste was experienced for each after a nice nose and 1st taste. I got this bottle for Christmas from my wife and it has since established itself as my favourite Speyside malt, and one of my favourite Scotches overall. Genel Yorum :Aberlour 16 Double Cask, tatlı aromaların baskın olduğu oldukça kolay içimli ve dengeli bir ekspresyon. Bu yazı ilginizi çektiyse; If you like peated whisky, this is one of the best out there for sure,” says Kurpinsky. Ardbeg is something of an Islay cult favorite, particularly appealing to true lovers of smoky whisky. The flavor of this Scotch comes from burning peat to dry out the barley and stop the malting process, which infuses the grain with smoke. “This bottling, named after a local loch, has all the maritime salinity you come to expect from the distillery literally on the water, but also has one of the most satisfying finishes in Islay,” adds Kurpinsky. “You'll get plenty of smoke, dried fruits, fresh coffee, dark sugars and that bit of sea salt." On the palate, lots of cherries, a little nutty, and more vanilla than on the nose. The vanilla becomes more prevalent with a drop of water. Very soft and fruity, but with a fair amount of spice as well. Extremely luxurious. You are here: Home / Scotch / Aberlour 16 Years Single Cask Review Aberlour 16 Years Single Cask Review
