About this deal

In the world of Blood Bowl, a pair of truly classic Star Players are returning to the pitch after a long absence, sporting brand new models to boot! A heady mix of daemonic power and debased Astartes ceramite, this Battleforce is the ideal way to throw in your lot with the Warmaster and start scouring the galaxy for the keys to victory.

If you’re only interested in receiving the newest games this is the box for you; guaranteeing only the latest games! Buy New Releases Box »Launch your own Balefleet in games of Warhammer 40,000 with this boxed set containing 17 plastic Citadel miniatures, led by a fearsome Daemon Prince. Alongside him are a massive Heldrake, a squad of elite Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and two units of mutated Possessed. This force makes a fantastic core around which to build your Chaos Space Marines army, or a powerful addition to an existing force. The Balefleet Battleforce is a contingent of corrupted warriors comprised of 10 Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and a Helldrake, all led by an infernal Daemon Prince. Each Balefleet is fully self-sufficient and self-contained, allowing them to act independently of the other. When set against the interdependent formations of the Indomitus Crusade and their need to act as a component of a greater strategic whole, Abaddon had succeeded in translating the individualistic and anarchic nature of his followers into an advantage. Not only could they act without having to maintain strategic coherency with other fleets, but they were also expendable to The Despoiler. [2] Sources

Although the Alpha Legion prefers subtlety, they occasionally take to the field in the full panoply of their Legion. Upgrade your Cataphractii Terminators with detailed shoulder pads, then add some flair to your line troops with MkIII Shoulder Pads and MkIV Torsos. For example, what would this do against a Knight army? If you’re counting on your Havocs to do all the heavy lifting then you’ve never built that kit (psst, you won’t have enough of any one specific gun like…melta or lascannons). So, if I were building out this list, I probably would skip on the Combat Patrol for now. Great online store for board games. They always arrive perfectly and undamaged which is important to me. As well as spinning an epic yarn, Arks of Omen: Abaddon lets you take part in the saga of the Balefleets by introducing rules and missions for Boarding Actions – a whole new way to play Warhammer 40,000, offering fast-paced games set within the confines of voidcraft, space hulks, and orbital stations. As well as these smaller sets that have been designed for Boarding Actions, there is also a new Chaos Battleforce that has been themed around the new unfolding narrative.

Alongside plenty of new lore advancing the storyline, this book contains further rules for the Boarding Actions, including unique upgrades for Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, World Eaters, Grey Knights, Astra Militarum, and Orks Boarding Patrols. The Balefleets of Abaddon the Despoiler surge across the galaxy, and woebetide any who attempt to seize or destroy the Arks of Omen that serve as their flagships. Meanwhile, here at Warhammer Community we’ll have more from Codex: World Eaters , the next video in our 40 Years of Warhammer series, and plenty more. Out of the box this collection has a few too many points for a single Boarding Action force, but that just gives you more options to play around with.”

Lead the World Eaters on the charge with Lord Invocatus, a named warlord who plunges into battle from the burning skies atop his personal Juggernaut mount Khal’guruth. His artificer chain-axe, Coward’s Bane, reaps a tremendous tally of skulls, and if the force of Khorne’s Thunderbolt isn’t a fit for your warband, you can also assemble this miniature as a regular Khorne Lord on Juggernaut. Exalted Eightbound Both of the sets here are designed so they fit into Boarding Actions' 500-point limit and the other army building rules that we looked at last week HERE. That being said, the second of these sets focusing on the Chaos Space Marines offers up a few more than 500 points but that just means you can tweak as you see fit.

This force makes a fantastic core around which to build your Chaos Space Marines army, or a powerful addition to an existing force. Jakhals are brutal human cultists pumped with combat stims and eight drops of the warp-infused blood of true World Eaters, turning them into furious melee machines with no regard for their own lives. They’re effective fighters in their own right, and throw themselves into enemy guns for a chance to please their murderous god. World Eaters Datacards and Dice Set

First up is the start of the latest narrative ark… we mean arc… that will shape the future of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Arks of Omen is here, in the form of book one in the series: Abaddon . From the grim darkness of the far future, to the equally grim darkness of the slightly nearer future, there are more Warhammer: The Horus Heresy torsos and shoulder pads coming for Loyalists and Traitors alike. In the brand new Boarding Actions format, compact armies battle through cramped corridors and treacherous corners. New and upcoming Boarding Patrol boxes give you a diverse selection of models to form effective and characterful armies. A Balefleet is a warband of Chaos Space Marines that has been sent forth by Abaddon and Vashtorr to find the different McGuffins that they need for their rituals. You don't get either of the head honchos in this set but you do get ten Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, a Heldrake and then a dark and twisted Daemon Prince. That said, I wouldn’t mind taking him for some sort of narrative or special Boarding Action game. Maybe as a “final boss” sort of fight where you play on a double sized map with 1000 points per side? Just tossing that out there…
