When you’re done with the guide, please find ways to learn more. and the author nicely explained the bi/pan confusion. “Pansexual, on occasion, gets tossed in with ‘bisexual.’ And though the two are similar, they are not the same. They simply share space. Bisexual is the attraction to two or more genders. Meaning multiple. And not necessarily male and female exclusively. There are many genders and this all includes those who ID as non-binary, meaning neither male nor female. So, bisexuality simply means the choice of two or more. Pansexuality swings a little differently. Pansexual means that I share an attraction to any and all genders. The difference? Multiple is not the same as all.”

This is great collection of essays for anyone who wants to be a better ally or thinking about becomng one.

Anyone has the potential to be an ally. It’s no secret that shame and guilt go hand in hand with unlearning racism – but you can’t do this work in any meaningful, or truthful way without experiencing these feelings at some point and you will consistently feel uncomfortable. Trying to do anti-racism work while remaining comfortable, to actively avoid confronting feelings, is just not possible.Allies" is an anthology of 16 different essays discussing what exactly an ally is. It was incredibly heartfelt and emotional, and each essay felt personal. The line-up in and of itself was extremely diverse, covering race, sexuality, gender, religion, and disability.
