It's almost as if Jake was meant to live in the System rather than earth. It gives a very interesting dynamic where the MC isn't exactly an antihero, but he's absolutely not a typical good guy. Overall, my opinion about this story. It is great, this trope wasn’t/isn’t really my cup of tea but you made me like it and allowed me to have some enjoyment whilst reading. Traffic was terrible as usual, living in a big city and all. He spent most of the time not actually driving but sitting in the endless queues of the morning rush. He had considered cycling or maybe running to work, but then he would have to shower and get dressed at work, and that just sounded bothersome.

At the final stage, the strongest of the Earth's humanity faced off against the Monarch and his soldiers. After slaying the Monarch, Jake and the Sword Saint have a duel, but after being outmatched against Jake the Sword Saint activates his Transcendent ability where they fight to the death until the last moment on the crumbling world of Yalsten.

While i like reading the viper, reading umbra and her take on all thise would be quit nice as well. That Even side characters are shown to have goals and ambition on their own, even if they die later, nailed the 4,5 mark for me. I have to reduce 1 Star from the Story score as some aspects of the story seem to keep going on forevery.

During World Congress, Jake had found that his former boss Jacob is leader of the Holy Church faction, his friend Casper is part of the undead and his brother Caleb is leader of the Court of Shadows faction. All in all? Jake was content with his life. He had a well-paying job, a good family, a nice apartment, great colleagues, and his future was looking bright if he said so himself. He wasn’t an extraordinary person, but just another face in the crowd. And he kind of liked it that way. Standing out meant unnecessary attention, and he would prefer to avoid that.

The plot is fluent and it is easy to follow, nothing I can really add to this. While the story is named for its Hunting, spending dozens over dozens of chapers just mindless grinding is just wrong.
