About this deal

Sensor drying works well: The Candy’s 15 programmes do a great job of automatically drying clothes just the right amount – not too much, not too little – with only the Cottons Eco programme tending towards over-drying.

You should then inspect each of the cables that go from the control board down to the thermostats and the heating element. Make sure that there are no breaks or kinks in the wires. The answer to that question is the heating element. The heating element uses metal coils that touch the dryer drum just enough to heat it up but not to overheat it. Inspect the control board for any signs of a short circuit and make sure that the wiring is not faulty On the front of the machine behind the front panel – You will need to remove the front and take a look on either side of the drum Like most other tumble dryers, Candy dryers have a reset button on the thermostat. You can get to the thermostat by opening the rear access panel.

This means that the control board is struggling to carry out that particular drying cycle due to a hardware error on the control board. Washer-dryers can both bring you convenience and save you precious space, which can be especially vital if you live in a small house or apartment.

You will need to use a high pressure washer to properly clean out the condenser unit and you should be careful where you clean it out. The grills on the side should be blasted with water until all of the fluff starts to fall out. If you’ve tried resetting the dryer and running a regular cycle but it hasn’t worked, take a look at those vents and ducts. You may just need to pull out some clumps of lint! The heating element may have an open circuit or an insulation fault that is causing the control board to display the E21 fault code. These error codes do not relate to ALL Candy tumble dryers. If you are unsure please ask in the forums as well as for all other Candytumble dryer fault codes. If the thermostats, control board and all of the wiring seem to be functioning properly then it might be that heating element that Is faulty.

This error code will be displayed if the temperature exceeds 80˚C which will generally mean that the tumble dryer is being run empty. We have purposely not listed any Candy tumble dryer spares in this article as it covers multiple models from a vast range with numerous changes made to teh spare parts used and subsequent replacement spare parts. They will also often look the same or similar yet be different or, look totally different yet be completely comptible as they've been altered. On the top of the heating element, you will find the thermostats. The one on the right can be pushed in to reset it. Thanks to the Start Delay function you can delay the start of the drying cycle up to 24 hours. Postpone it during the night to save energy costs or program it at your convenience. You should always make sure that the lint filter on your tumble dryer is cleaned out after every cycle.

Please, don't guess or assume as spares can be altered on a production run with the same model number having several different alternative components used.
