Sensor drying works well: The Candy’s 15 programmes do a great job of automatically drying clothes just the right amount – not too much, not too little – with only the Cottons Eco programme tending towards over-drying.
You should then inspect each of the cables that go from the control board down to the thermostats and the heating element. Make sure that there are no breaks or kinks in the wires.The answer to that question is the heating element. The heating element uses metal coils that touch the dryer drum just enough to heat it up but not to overheat it. Inspect the control board for any signs of a short circuit and make sure that the wiring is not faulty On the front of the machine behind the front panel – You will need to remove the front and take a look on either side of the drum Like most other tumble dryers, Candy dryers have a reset button on the thermostat. You can get to the thermostat by opening the rear access panel.

This error code will be displayed if the temperature exceeds 80˚C which will generally mean that the tumble dryer is being run empty.
