The seat angle is 70 degrees in upright mode and if that seems uncomfortable it can easily be reclined. A compact stroller is not only useful for stowage in smaller apartments but also in crowded places and on the plane too, as sometimes a particularly compact travel stroller can be brought on board a plane as cabin carry on baggage. Lightweight This Bugaboo stroller is designed for children up to 22kg/around 4 years which is bigger than most in thetravel strollercategory. My petite 6 year old (21.5kg) has ridden in it on some longer days and it is still easy to push and tall enough in the seat to handle her. At 5 foot 9, I often struggle with stroller’s that don’t have a height adjustable bar, but I find the Butterfly is still comfortable to push. Additionally, a CoziGo UV stroller cover (and airline bassinet cover) or Snoozeshade can easily be attached to offer more protection, so this is not a deal breaker. Toddlers may not sleep quite as much as babies, but they may still need a nap if you are out exploring all day, or jet-legged. Plus they usually fall asleep just as you need arrive somewhere or land! So having a recline function makes it easier for them to get to sleep and stay asleep.

Lightweight travel strollers may have less features and comfort but that is the tradeoff for the other practical features. The brakes are a good-news, bad-news story. I like that I can both engage and disengage the brake by pushing with the bottom of my foot instead of having to lift it up with my toes. But I don’t like having two separate brake pedals, one on each wheel that need to be pushed for both stopping and starting.

Like the BabyZen YoYo Plus, this compact stroller comes with a carry handle and carry strap plus a travel bag. For most airlinehand baggage rules, the Nano is too big to be considered as hand luggage, despite it being very compact. Although the newer Mountain Buggy Nano V3 is out, the original has many decent features and a good price point.
