The Jett Dawson is the twenty-first episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the third episode of Season 2. Now being in the final four, she is paired up Shanelle to design an outfit for Blu inspired by Rainbow High. Both girls get to work and do well until it comes to designing, with Shanelle wanting a ball gown and Ainsley wanting a pantsuit. They try to combine these ideas with little success, with Maria and the other judges thinking their prototype was messy and awkward.

January 31st, 2021: She's featured in an episode of the Rainbow High vlog series, being on the cover of The SCENE. Now, I would actually prefer that : sometimes, a doll being the same color but different shades can be overbearing. I love my Poppy doll, but there is way too much orange ; I would've liked maybe a little green or a different butterfly design for the hair clips. Kia Hart and Jett Dawson are the only dolls (i believe) that don't have the single color margins. She and the rest of The A's are sitting in the auditorium as part of the audience watching the runway show, with Ainsley cheering for the girls along with the other students. While not physically appearing, she has an important role in the episode. It is revealed that she is now becoming a fashion focus, also revealed that she has been keeping her designs a secret to most of her friends, including her best friend, Avery. Jett is briefly mentioned by Karma to Colin, who gushes about how she just flew in from Japan, with them both being interested.

Karma talks a bit about Jett and how her and Lily are friends, claiming Jett has worked with and been taught by Lily's grandma. Later on in the episode, she also appears again, making a smaller appearance. She originally had tan skin similar to Skyler Bradshaw, but it was changed into a darker skin tone. Poppy, Skyler and Sunny are greeted by Ainsley and the rest of The A's, who offer Poppy the opportunity to DJ for their upcoming party if she can create a new tune by the end of the day. In particular, Ainsley lets Poppy know this opportunity is very important and won't just be given to her.

Finally presenting their Radiant Week project, Jett works with her group to teach all about fabric, even revealing she sourced special fabric. She used this fabric to resemble a spiderweb, with Robin even hanging from it for the presentation. Ainsley joins her group in designing a dress themed after a sand dollar, with Ainsley supporting Monique's ideas more than anybody. As the team works together, they nearly win until the dress' train gets hooked. Jett is once again interviewed by Karma and continues telling all about her life, starting by dismissing the rumor of her pop star boyfriend, instead saying he's a DJ. She then talks about possibly making Karma a dress, greatly flattering and exciting her. She then talks about her portable sewing machine and work for Laurel and Holly, finishing the episode off shortly after. Karma mentions her again, this time talking about her tripping and being caught by Aidan. While she highly praises Aidan, she calls Ainsley's trip a fail, even claiming she looks like she's gonna fly away and take off. Avery is a very common French and English girls' name that means "ruler of elves", both a reference to her being the leader of the group and to “every” as in “every styles”.

She has an extremely similar hair style and color to influencer Karyna Rangel, causing many theories that Karyna was Jett’s inspiration. This however has not been confirmed, and is most likely unintended.
