The first input has a jack socket for guitar and mic inputs, and the second has an XLR mic/instrument combo socket.The CUBE Street II boasts an impressive 8 hour battery life (10 hours with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries) so you can get a full working day of busking out of it. Boss has added a Phrase Looper (45-second Stereo/90 Second Mono) and Vocal Harmoniser functionality, meaning your performances will stand out from the crowd. It's reliable, robust, and incredibly lightweight, so getting to your destination is always going to be a smooth-sailing journey, not one that weighs you down. Swap out the harmony function on the Mic/Instrument channel with a chorus, phaser, flanger, tremolo, or touch wah effect.

Enjoy a vocal harmony function, a looper, and plenty of other must-have effects too, it's just superb for digging deep into your creativity. Via i-CUBE Link and USB, you can send the amp’s audio output to video, livestreaming, or music production apps for on-the-spot capture. Equipped with a standard ¼-inch jack, the Guitar/Mic channel provides plug-and-play sound for guitarists with seven acoustic and electric amp types, as well as settings for a line-level instrument or unbalanced mic.Boss has now added the 3-Band EQ to the mic input, previously only found on the guitar input, giving you greater control of your overall sound. Street 2 also features awesome chorus, delay and reverb effects that will add a polished sound to your performance. The amp effects are perhaps a little generic compared to using a bunch of your own pedals but they provide a decent bedrock of tones – crunch, lead and so on – and everything is kept inside the box for a minimum of fuss. The built-in looper can record up to 45 seconds of audio, though you’ll probably need an external footswitch to use it properly.
