Imagine enough time has passed that dinosaurs are no big deal anymore, and seeing one isn’t the most exciting thing in the world–or, at least, it’s no more exciting than seeing any other zoo animal. We didn't get terribly deep into the plot or characters in vol 1, so I'm looking forward to the next volume. The child in me is beside herself: this was a wonderful read and I loved it right from the first chapter. While the manga mentions that the dinosaurs here have, in part, been brought back through breeding and genetic work, Dinosaur Sanctuary isn't ripping off the Jurassic Park franchise.
