About this deal

If you have used a flea treatment and are still seeing active fleas on your pet, it could be for a couple of reasons. Although they can’t go outside and catch fleas themselves, fleas can easily be brought into your home on the clothes, bags or belongings of you and any visitors who have come into contact with cats with fleas. This will reduce the likelihood they will develop rashes or irritations, and also makes it suitable for cats with existing skin and fur issues.

If your cat is healthy and visits your vet regularly, your surgery may be happy to dispense prescription flea products without an appointment, but if they haven’t been examined for a while, you will need to book an appointment for them to be checked. Bathing them is something you won't have to worry about because cats are notoriously clean and will do the majority of the work for you. As previously said, your cat will not require frequent baths because they groom themselves and dislike water. It can still remove grease and dirt too and contains aloe which will soothe their skin and ensure it doesn’t dry out.

It doesn’t take too much of this sucking to cause anemia in a kitten that is carrying innumerable fleas. You can replace the glycerin with Dawn dish soap, but the glycerin adds an extra moisturizing component to the shampoo, which will help any cats with dry skin. Fleas will move to the driest area of the kitten, so it is not unusual to see them swarm to the head and facial area.

Socks really really needs a bit of a freshen up, but any attempt to take him near water ends up with a clawed hand and grumpy cat.

Not only is it extremely harmful if your cat swallows any, but she can also absorb it through her skin or ingest it through licking her fur. No matter how clean your home is and how well you care for your cat, if you don’t treat them for fleas regularly, chances are they’ll strike sooner or later. Natural components are gentler on the eyes than chemicals, and you can use this as a guide when selecting a brand that does not state tearless on the label. Baby shampoo: This shampoo is designed to be much gentler for babies, so it could also work on your cat’s delicate skin. If you can grab these fleas with your fingers or tweezers, drop them into a cup of hot, soapy water.

This shampoo is good to use 2-3 times every week for the first couple of weeks until the issue is controlled. You wet the cat, add a bit of water to the shampoo and then rub the shampoo onto the fur, working into a lather or foam. No matter what type of pet you own, whether it’s a cat, dog, or rabbit, regular flea treatments are important.

Even after the initial treatment of your kitten and home, you may still see a few fleas here and there. It also won’t be harsh on your hands which is good if you really need to work it in to get rid of all of the bugs. jpg","smallWidth":460,"smallHeight":345,"bigWidth":728,"bigHeight":546,"licensing":"
