About this deal
I'm just trying to understand how different configurations effect the magnetic field and power output. You can see that while the flux has ABOUT halved from near maagnet face to this point, it falls much faster beyond here.

I would have a magnet plate (each side of the magnet is uncovered) between two separate coil plates, each with their own rectifier circuit.Once the reamer has reached its widest point the cut is complete, and the reamer can be stopped and withdrawn. Field decays in a complex geometry related manner and due to the interaction of multiple magnets with interacting fields plus (optional) backing of magnetic material plus (optional) coil 'laminations' real device solutions are not amenable to simple numerical analysis. These iron filings are attracted to the magnetic field so they line up on it, showing us the shape of the magnetic field. With two layers of inductors you MAY win by getting more turns of a given cross section closer to magnets on average with reduced flux but lower profile coil. Specially designed cutting geometry allows the tool to be used in an Impact wrench or a Magnet drill.

Whatever the reason for enlarging a hole though, it has traditionally been difficult to do accurately on site and away from static, precision milling and drilling machines, especially in hard materials such as steel.
When used in an Impact wrench it is secured into a special adapter meaning the tool is easier to control, apply correct feed rate, and withdraw from the finished hole, enhancing tool life. Some alternator or motor makers utilise aluminum wire (with higher resistance per area than copper (and lower mass)) due to absolute lower overall costs even after the increase in size for a given performance is takem into account. In this compass the needle is attached underneath to this black section with numbers on it, and that's why we see the black section moving. Apply firm, steady feed pressure throughout the cut, applying the feed very slowly and cautiously during the first 1mm of cut.
