During the finale, if the player falls through the plank over the hole in the floor, Purple will jumpscare them. In 3rd person you will witness the jumpscare exactly the same as the one being jumpscared. However, you will only see the player be dragged into the vent or fog. There is no 3rd person jumpscare if a player falls off the plank in the finale of Chapter 1. You can survive Purple by crouching in Chapter 2. This is most likely a bug with hitbox problems. However, there is a small chance that Purple may still get you. Purple resides in the vents during nights 3 and 4. During this time, the vents will be leaking water. The vents will have a small pathway through the water, marked by footprints. If the player walks across the water, Purple will reach out and grab them. To avoid Purple, players must either wait for them to move to another vent or walk across the footprints. When Purple moves from a vent, they will make metallic thumping noises as they travel.
