Although that can be read as something negative for the Viltrox, you have to read: "i don't need f1.4 so i will buy the Fuji, its WR and smaller as well, similar price…" Thank you for your excellent review. I have had my eye on this lens for a while. I own both the 23mm and 35mm Fujifilm automatic lenses and cannot make a case to add it to my collection. I don't think it makes any sense what you're doing because these lenses were tested on very different cameras. The Fuji lenses were tested on an older 16mpix body while the viltrox was tested on the newest generation 26mpix body. So especially things like resolution can't be compared afaik. I sold my 23mm f2 - couldn't stomach the color fringing that I kept on getting ever so often. Sharpness was ok. Whether or not you fill out a form has nothing to do with whether or not the health care levy is means-tested. It is a fact that it is.

The lens mount is solid and the focus ring is buttery smooth, it feels great for manual focusing, but if I was to compare the overall feel with the fuji f1.4 I would say that the fuji feels more solid in terms of the overall build. Source: https://www.image-engineering.de/library/technotes/761-resolution-measurement-and-its-units There's just something about the output I get from the Fujinon 35 mm f1.4. that I find extremely pleasing.

Another problem is that people tend to defend their options with more effort than what they employ on thinking about adjusting to reallity. If Fuji extract 23mm F2 lens from X100V, it should not include leaf shutter parts because X-E4 built-in focal plane shutter.

On universal healthcare; every country facing the demands of older population. Pandemic as virtual body-blow. In Britain partial privatisation with US companies buying hospitals serving more private patients. NHS will not survive in its present form with long waiting-lists (rationing) . NHS by not charging user-patients is a prescription for abuse. Ive noticed a strange issue with the Viltrox which Ive mentioned in other posts. If I take multiple shots so: Press shutter, keep composition, press shutter again. The last shots are usually MUCH sharper than the first, making me believe there is an issue with AF. If you are looking for a lens for standard documentary photography the 23mm focal length on APS-C will be a good fit. It yields a 35mm full-frame equivalent field of view. Since 23mm F2 in X100V is pancake lens, just take it out, put in a WR body (a case similar to XF 27mm F2.8), then make it affordable compact kit lens for X-E4.Note: A word of caution for owners of Fujifilm X-Pro 3 cameras - the lens is currently not compatible with this camera because the lens release button on this camera interferes with the diameter of the lens. Overall, I think this piece of glass does strike a good balance between price, image quality and the tradeoffs. Plus, it is made in Japan. Fuji X-T3 . Sigma 30mmF1.4 @30mm . f/1.4 . 1/5000″ . Viltrox AF 23mm F1.4 Z review | Digital Camera World

It’s kinda funny how many negative reactions this lens is eliciting. I know numbers aren’t everything, but you would think Viltrox killed someone’s dog by producing a lens that has better sharpness than the Fujinon, but is not absolutely perfect. Only really if you want shallow DOF. But if you're doing things like landscape or otherwise are shooting deep DOF or moderate DOF, then the APS-C format, and Fuji's, work just fine. Got my copy of Viltrox 23mm and couldn't be happier. It is really sharp and colors look gorgeous. I don't have the Fuji 23mm 2.0 to compare, but it compares quite favorably to my 16-55 2.8 Fuji lens. I was debating between this and Fuji 23 2.0, but this is even cheaper than 2.0, and you get 1.4 to boot. It's a shame for Fujifilm, that they still don't have a high performance 35/14. The AF is quite slow, not great for AF C, the motor quite loud, I think the short DOF of the 1.2 compared to the 2.0 will be the deciding factor for most people. I think someone who specifically wants the bokeh of 1.2 wouldn't switch to the 2.0 even if it happened to be e.g a bit sharper (the 1.2 is amazing though) and faster focusing which is the case. But for anyone who wants something more casual the 2.0 makes sense.Dưới đáy ống kính được trạng bị ổ Micro USB, giúp thuận tiện hơn cho việc nâng cấp Firmware trong tương lai, giúp hiệu suất hoạt động mạnh mẽ hơn; Issues: I got the lens profile setup in Lightroom but Viltrox says it only works with JPEGs which is pretty disappointing. I found a work around by editing the lens profile in notepad "CameraRawProfile" is set to false. I edited it to true and it works flawlessly in with RAW now. Image attached for people in the future. Personally I find the whole f2.0 line pretty boring. They offer such dull images compared to the f1.4 and f1.2 versions.
